The Solis S6 80kW 3-Phase Grid-Tied Inverter (S6-GC80K) is a high-performance solar inverter designed for commercial and industrial photovoltaic installations. Featuring eight Maximum Power Point Trackers (MPPTs) and 16 string inputs, it supports up to 120kW of solar DC input power, providing flexible system design and efficient solar energy conversion.
Operating with a wide PV input voltage range and a low start-up voltage of 180V, the inverter is designed to optimise solar generation across varying operating conditions. Integrated DC and AC Type 2 surge protection, DC arc-fault circuit interruption (AFCI), reverse-polarity protection and an integrated DC switch help enhance system protection.
With Solis Cloud intelligent monitoring, Smart String I-V Curve Diagnosis and remote firmware upgrades, installers and system owners can monitor performance and support efficient system maintenance. The inverter is NRS-097-2-1 certified and approved for City of Cape Town applications, as specified in the supplied product information.
